Our first in-person meetup: free, beginner-friendly, no jargon. We’ll break down cloud computing, AWS, and security in plain English, then show you how to take the first real steps toward a tech career.
We'll talk about
- Cloud. What cloud computing actually is, why companies hire for it, and the big ideas behind IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS without the buzzwords.
- AWS. How AWS shows up in real jobs: core services at a high level, how teams use the console and cloud accounts day to day, and what “working with AWS” usually means for beginners.
- Security. The security basics every beginner should know: identity, least privilege, shared responsibility, and why secure habits matter from day one.
- How to get started. A practical path: what to learn first, how to practice, which free resources help, and how to build confidence without memorising steps.
